So I’m addicted to themes now. #canyoutell? Yes, this is the third new theme I’m introducing to the blog. Soulmate Series Saturdays will be little updates on my work, like where I am in the writing, editing, and publishing process. I know some of you have expressed interest in purchasing my debut novel when it releases. This is my way of keeping you updated with this project, as well as others.
Speaking of the project, What the Heart Wants is still going through edits. I know. It’s taking forever, right? Well, you can’t rush perfection. No, that doesn’t mean my novel will be perfect, but I want it to be the best it can be. I want you, the reader, to enjoy it to the point that you don’t want to put it down. Sound good?
I’ve been crazy busy with things over at ParaYourNormal as well as the IBC. Don’t worry, things are settling down and I’m ready to get WTHW edited and published. I’m happy to say that I have found two new critique partners. I have a total of three now, plus a mentor. I’m excited.
One of my crit-partners, I have discovered, is my soul sister, or writing sister as we call it. She is keeping motivated as I am doing the same for her. We’re good for each other, I have no doubt about this. We just completed a projecte of 4k words each in a couple of days.
Our deadline is Monday for this certain project and neither of us were motivated to write. Somehow, we manage to give each other a swift kick in the right direction because we finished a few days early. Now that we know how well we work together, we’ve decided to set more deadlines for each other in hopes of getting our edits finished, like, yesterday.
We have a mutal crit-partner who is editing as well, and let me to you, we are ready to make some waves in the paranormal romance universe. So get ready for some amazing books to head your way. I’ll keep you posted.
