I’m always on the lookout for good music to help me write. God knows iTunes has made much money off of me. Thanks, Apple ~_^
Now that I’m back in the swing of things, aka writing, every time I get in my vehicle, the radio comes on. You never know when you’ll discover that song to help you ‘get in the mood’. Not that mood, silly, the mood to write. Though the song I’m discussing today has to do with that mood.
While some of my characters are rockers, I listen to all types of music to help me write. Especially love scenes. There’s something about Rihanna’s music that helps with that. In What the Heart Wants, I kept her song, Skin on repeat while writing Heaven and Dylan’s big scene.
Now, in writing book 2, (which does have a title, but I’m not releasing that info yet) I’ve turned to her music again. I don’t know if this song will be playing in the background when I write Heaven and Dylan’s special scene, but I will tell you this. It will playing during a pretty HOT scene.
